Cacao 70 Dip Shop

Who can say no to a delicious ice cream on a sunny day?
Today, I want to talk about an ice cream shop located near Gastown. If you’re a dessert lover, you must know Cacao 70. They have multiple locations: Denman, Lonsdale Quay, Bayview, and Gastown.

I wanted to try their newest location in Gastown, which is a dip shop. You can dip the ice cream into your favourite dippings of your choice! I visited after my class with my friends and it was definitely a great after class treat for students who have school in downtown!

Joe Fortes: Happy Hour

If you’re a true foodie, you enjoy going to happy hours.

I love going to happy hour for restaurants because it lets me enjoy different kind of dishes at a cheaper price in budget! Perfect for poor university students who can’t afford to have very expensive and fancy dinner at the restaurants you always wanted to go to!

Also, oyster is one of my favourite food in the world, but we all know it can be a bit pricey right? Well, look for happy hours or buck-a-shuck deals nearby! Many restaurants in Vancouver have buck-a-shuck deal for oysters, especially during happy hour. I was craving oysters so badly, so I was searching few places to get good deals and came across one of my favourite places, Joe Fortes.

At Joe Fortes, if you want the happy hour deal you must visit during 4-6pm and sit at the bar only. It can be a bit squishy and tight but it’s still a nice experience because you can actually see the people open up oysters and have it right in front of you quickly!

Via Tevere Pizzeria

Hello to all the pizza lovers out there!

Today, I wanted to talk about a new pizza place I’ve discovered over the weekend. I think pizza is a food that everyone enjoys. Am I right? 😉 I definitely have a weakness for pizza, especially Italian, neapolitan pizza. Originally, I was looking for places to go for dine out during the weekend. However, after spending some time to look at the restaurants, I couldn’t find one that I really wanted to go to and came across Via Tevere Pizzeria. This restaurant opens at 5pm, so we only have a choice for dinner meal. I arrived around 5:10pm ish and was very surprised to see the restaurant almost full. This definitely proved me that the place was extremely famous and loved by many people!

Yew Seafood + Bar

Hello again to all the foodies! Welcome back 🙂

Couple days ago, it was my 21st birthday and I wanted to share with you guys the birthday dinner I had!

This was my first time at the Yew seafood + bar restaurant and I was very excited to go! For any special occasions, I often go find a new seafood restaurant in Vancouver because seafood is my ultimate favourite. You can never go wrong! Yew seafood is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel, that is also connected to the Pacific Centre. Because it’s a restaurant in a high class hotel, I had high hopes for it and I can definitely say that it met up to my expectations! At first, I was very surprised with the interior and the aesthetic of the restaurant. It had a very high ceiling, extremely interesting interior inside but very luxurious. I also loved that it was an open kitchen, so you could see the chefs cooking the food and the kitchen’s environment as well. The service was also outstanding as my waiter was very kind and helpful to decide on our menus.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the restaurant:
